The Practice of Christ

Scott Bader Saye has argued that we live in a culture of fear.

We are bombarded by messages which play and prey upon our fears.

The Practice of Christ is designed to name these fears and consider the cost of discipleship.

What would it mean for us to recover, make use of and try to live out in personal life as well as the life of the church itself the language of mercy, justice, forgiveness, integrity, grace, compassion, love, hope.

How might we move beyond lip service and paper statements on generosity, humility, and recover the use of words like obedience to Christ;s way for us.
